Saigon Bowl

If you like Vietnamese cuisine, or would like to try it, this is a great place to go. The food is as close to authentic as you can get and it's reasonably priced (read: cheap) too. You have to order the spring rolls and try the vermicelli bowls or rice platters. An added bonus is that it sits in a huge strip mall that includes other asian stores/shops and two grocery stores.

I am obviously not a food critic or blogger so here is a link for Saigon Bowl:

Welcome to the DU APALSA Guide to Denver!

Hello all! So what is this DU APALSA Guide to Denver?

Facts: There are many Asian restaurants, grocery stores, shops, churches/temples, etc. in the Denver/Boulder area. There is no real "Chinatown" but there are clusters of Asian ethnic groups scattered in and around the region.

Issue: Whether that asian restaurant you drove by the other day is worth stopping for next time.

Rule: There are no rules. This blog is here for everyone. If there is a restaurant that you have eaten at, but is not "blogged" yet, please feel free to submit a review!

Hold/Reasoning/Rationale: While the Asian population is small here in Denver/Boulder (compared to LA, Houston, San Francisco), there is still a lot to offer. You just have to know where to look and that is WHY we are doing this!
